ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TABLE AND TEA ARTICLES, LOT OF 13, each having mulberry/purple transfer patterns, including a platter and a cup and saucer set with "TYROLEAN." pattern, featuring figures with goats in foreground, a platter having "India" pattern depicting temple warriors in foreground, a covered sugar with "Verona" scene featuring a woman descending steps while balancing a pitcher on her head, and three cup and saucer sets including patterns "ARABIAN", "Brussels", and "EGYPTIAN". Marks include printed pattern names and impressed "DILLON" to underside. William Ridgway & Co., Hanley; William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent; George Phillips, Longport; Francis Dillon, Cob ridge; John Wedgwood, Tunstall; Joseph Heath & Co., Tunstall, England. Second quarter 19th century. 5 7/8" HOA.
Nine undamaged; "India" platter with flake to rim underside; "Tyrolean" platter with light hairline to rim; "Verona" sugar with chip to foot and a few minor flakes to interior gallery; "Arabian" cup with rim hairline.
