ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF 14, each having black transfer patterns, comprising an open-handled footed soup tureen featuring floral bouquet motif, and thirteen plates including patterns "The Sea" featuring figures on a cliff overlooking water, "Fort Edward / Hudson River", "Columbus", "Priory", "Herculaneum Vase", and "India". Marks include printed pattern names and impressed "ADAMS". John Ridgway & Co.; William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent; Ralph Hall, Tunstall; Ralph & James Clews, Cob ridge; Job and John Jackson, Bursal, England; and others. Second/third quarter 19th century. 11" HOA, plates 7" to 10 7/8" D.
Twelve undamaged, some having expected usage wear including short scattered scratches from use; two plates with flake to foot ring.
