Signed "Louis Icart" in pencil l.r., dated and with publisher within the plate, inscribed "Ep: d'artiste" in pencil l.l., artist's printing press dry stamp l.l. Etching and aquatint with stencil coloring on paper, oval format, plate size 18 1/2 x 14 3/4 in. (46.8 x 37.2 cm), framed.
Condition: Toning, not examined out of frame.

The toning is even and unobtrusive. The work has been partially removed from its frame revealing that the sheet is laid down onto an oval-shaped piece of cardboard, and has only narrow margins.
