Description
FRANK WESTON BENSON (AMERICAN, 1862-1951)
Drypoint etching, signed in pencil to lower left and numbered "20" to lower right, the title of "Evening" is hidden by the matting lower left. A duck flies at dusk with shadow seen in pond. Sight: 11.25" height, 9" width; frame: 19.5" height, 15.75" width.
Condition
Frame will need to be replaced. Note the brown mark top center in the margin with a bit of foxing easily noted in the margin once the piece is taken from behind the matting as what is behind the matting is much 'whiter'.
