A long carved wooden arm and hand heavily embellished with numerous Milagro charms and hand hammered copper wrap. The milagro of the arm might represent an arm itself, and some condition associated with it, and the charms a way of asking for healing, and it could also represent one's strength, one's ability to work. Collected in Mexico in the mid 20th century, This wooden arm measures 18 inches long x 3.5 inches wide and was part of the permanent display at the Metamora Museum of Oddities, Metamora , Indiana.
