Description
English Staffordshire pitcher of American historical interest, circa 1800.
The pitcher is decorated with copper luster and a band of canary yellow, with two black transfer prints. One shows the Marquis de Lafayette, the other shows Cornwallis surrendering his sword at Yorktown.
Overall very good condition, no chips or cracks, a bit of wear to the Lafayette transfer.
Height 3 3/4".
