Item Details

Description

THREE LOVELY VICTORIAN CENTERPIECES C. 1890. Comprising three large and impressive silver plated and art glass Victorian centerpieces including an example with silver-plated base resting on three paw feet and upon which rests a large antlered stag amidst a large tree supporting a ribbed pink satin glass bowl enameled with flowers. Height 11.5 inches. Together with two centerpiece epergnes, one with pink to white satin glass ruffled bowl and trumpet vase, also with ruffled rim, set in an ornate silver-plated stand resting on three feet mounted with faces beneath a domed base upon which rests an antlered stag amongst trees with overhanging branches, apparently unmarked, height 17.25 inches. Together with a silver-plated centerpiece basket on pedestal base with wheat repoussé designs in the Art Nouveau taste and set with a ribbed pink to white ruffled glass trumpet vase, height 16.25 inches.
