Description
AMERICAN OR BRITISH SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) MINIATURE PORTRAITS / SILHOUETTES, LOT OF THREE, each in a hinged red leather snap case, two being silhouettes and one a watercolor on paper profile portrait of a man. First quarter 19th century. Each case 3 3/4" x 3" OA (closed).
Each in very good condition with minor areas of discoloration. One example with cracked glass and other loose in frame. Scattered wear to frames. Not examined out of frames.
Provenance: From the Maury Lloyd Hanson, Jr. Revocable Trust for the Nature Conservancy, to be used solely for acquisition of land in the Piedmont and Shenandoah Valley areas of Virginia.

Ex-Maud Wilmot collection.
Each in very good condition with minor areas of discoloration. One example with cracked glass and other loose in frame. Scattered wear to frames. Not examined out of frames.
