ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED ROMANTIC MOTIF CERAMIC JUGS / PITCHERS, LOT OF FIVE, each having red/pink transfer scenes depicting figures beside water or in boats with palatial structures in background, including one with hexagonal form, one with molded gadroon rim, and one having "Palestine" pattern featuring a figure standing in a horse-drawn chariot. Marks include various impressed symbols and printed numerals. Second/third quarter 19th century. 5 7/8" to 9 1/4" HOA.
Each having minor imperfections including "Palestine" example with chip to spout edge and glue-like residue to handle; gadroon rim example with minor flake to spout and rim; one with flake and hairline to underside base with minor hairline to top of handle; one having flake to spout; hexagonal example with areas of restoration to rim and foot.
