SIGNED: Abel BertramAbel Bertram was born in the town of Saint-Omer and was a Post-Impressionist painter. Bertram studied under Leon Bonnat and Antoine Guillemet and by 1899, he had his first exhibition at the Salon Des Artists Français in Paris.Bertram was known in particular for his unusual use of color. Nudes, flowers and landscapes dominated his catalogue of work, particularly with French themesPrivate collection, sold as attributed to, no documentation.
