Antique French Guilloche Enamel Hand Painted Cameo, Brass & Glass Vanity Set. 19th century, high relief brass details with hand painted & signed cameo portraits of ladies. textured blue protected backgrounds. The brush is 9 1/4" x 2 3/4" & is in excellent condition. The bristles are embedded in wood which is attached with 4 brass slotted screws & appears original. The powder jar has a crystal or glass insert with a star motif pattern. Marked "France" on underside, mirror is in crazed or obscured condition. 3 3/4" diameter & 2 7/8" tall. Each portrait is artist signed. Many times these portraits are painted on ivory but as these are not easily accessed it is undetermined of the composition of the material used.
