Motteux (translated by), "The History of the Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha", London: William Patterson & Co., 1884, with 33 Adolphe Lalauze etchings. Three-quarter Moroccan over marbled boards, gilt lining, gilt-stamped spines, marbled boards, discreetly stamped for Brentano's, New York bookseller.
Volume IV with split to upper half of front hinge, otherwise very fine with very minor rubbing, endpapers to one volume with light foxing, pages clean and tight.
