2 Meifu Li ceremonial women's head cloths, silk embroidery on indigo-dyed cotton. The end panels are covered in extremely fine silk embroidery in geometric patterns and Chinese characters. The body is fine indigo cotton. Hainan, China, early 20th century. Sizes: 1) 78'' x 10'' (198 x 25 cm); 2) 73'' x 9.5'' (185 x 24 cm). Provenance: Lee and Vichai Chinalai collection.
