Vintage PRE CIVIL WAR 1850's Red Green & Cheddar Lily Applique Antique Quilt!
This VIBRANT cotton 1850's red, green and cheddar lily pot quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with a triple border and unusual design.
It measures a generous 96" X 96" and is in excellent condition with a few age spots and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall with a vibrant colors and a snowy white background.
The quilting is AMAZING, with close straight line, grid, and feathered wreath designs quilted throughout at an even 9-10 stitches to the inch.
The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are white, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.
