PENNSYLVANIA FOLK ART FRAKTUR DRAWING / BIRTH RECORD, watercolor and ink on paper, inscribed "Phebe Hanes, / Daughter of Benjamin and Barlary / Hanes, was born February 11th A.D. 1803", with later ink inscription "Grandmother Wills Sister", with floral border, and feathering a large flowering urn flanked by two birds. Housed under glass in a 19th century frame. Dated 1803. 10 1/2" x 7 3/4" Fraktur, 19 1/4" x 15" OA.
Very good overall visual condition, minor losses to trim, possibly removed from a book, having minor to moderate toning and areas of discoloration. Not examined out of frame.
Provenance: From an Upstate New York private collection.
