Lot 0013 Details

  • Title: Folk Art robot made from an Erector Set
  • Provenance/Additional Info: This is a robot made from an Erector Set - likely dating from about the 1950'sor 60's. The legs and feet are hinged and move forward and back. These seem to be connected to a motor. The arms also move freely. The feet have wheels. The robot is about 37" high by 10" wide by 8 3/4" deep. It is in very good condition, although at this time the motor "whirrs" when plugged in but there is no actual movement. (Please contact a licensed electrician to restore. We do not suggest plugging it in or doing it yourself). The robot came from the toy collection of one of the individuals who inherited the Reese Candy Company.
