The Collection of George Gray, Chicago, IL. Mr. Gray's mother was a close friend of Ms. Harvey. Ms. Harvey was voted "Most Attractive" by the 1929 senior class at Crispus Attucks High School, Indianapolis, IN. She was married to William Robert Ming, Jr., civil rights attorney and member of the litigation team for Brown v Board of Education. Irvena went on to graduate from Butler University in 1933 and worked as a social worker. She served as an assistant field secretary in the NAACP (The Crisis, April, 1945, p.112)
