Lot 0199 Details

Vintage 14kt Emerald Cut Garnet with Diamonds Ring - signed A & Z. This is a size 4.75 but currently has a guard/sizer to make it slightly smaller - I will remove that upon request. It is approximately a 4.25-4.5 with the sizer. Weight is 1.84 grams. The garnet is a blood red stone that is 6.5mm by 5mm. Approximate;u 1 ctw. It has three 1.5mm diamonds on each side. The band is 1.5mm wide and weight is 1.84 grams. Great as an engagement ring too. It is signed A &Z which I believe is for A &Z Chain Company out of Providence, Rhode Island which was bought out in the second half of the 1970's. They made fine jewelry and also provided the same to independent jewelers. I believe this ring is approximately 1950's-1960's in age. This came from a PA estate. Very good condition. See Photos.
