ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE FLOW BLUE TRANSFER-PRINTED IRONSTONE ARTICLES, comprising a wash pitcher and basin having "Royal Harp" pattern featuring two stylized winged dragon scrolls flanking a harp, having blue printed "Royal / Harp / J. M. & S." to base, and a platter and an octagonal panelled body jug/pitcher featuring a seaweed/fibre design, unmarked. J. Meir & Son, Tunstall, England. Second half 19th century. Pitcher and basin 12" HOA.
"Royal Harp" pitcher having yellowing restoration to handle with pink discoloration at lower terminal, and basin with flake to rim edge; seaweed platter having a 2 1/2" L rim hairline, two zig-zag scratches on interior, with light discoloration; pitcher having restoration to spout.
Provenance: From the John & late Evelyn Teague collection, Bloomingdale, IN.
