Black Sea. Seutter/Lotter, Nova Mappa Maris Nigri et Freti Constantinopolitani quam Exactissime Consignata et in Lucem Edita, 1760 (circa). Hand Color. An outstanding map of the regions surrounding the Black Sea that is beautifully engraved to show topography, roads, and cities. Features a large inset of the Bosphorus with the city of Constantinople in at top right. A drape-style title cartouche is held aloft by putti.
