Central Europe, Germany. Nicholas de Fer, L'Allemagne Divisee en Dix Cercles. Dressee sur les Derniers Memoires, 1705 (circa). Hand Color. This charming miniature map depicts the German Empire, extending south to Venice, east to Warsaw and Budapest, and west to Paris. The map is filled with cities, political boundaries and river systems. Engraved by H. van Loon.
