Early limp parchment paper, some light chipping to spine and light soiling. Contents with some foxing throughout, to varying degrees. **************************** Following Boerhaave's death, several of his pupils published a number of lectures which they'd recorded in shorthand, particularly Gerard van Swieten, who is one of the contributors to this work on nervous diseases.
