While a student at Harvard, Roosevelt wrote the first two chapters of The Naval War of 1812 (1882), a work acclaimed in British and American naval circles alike.

Good condition, edged toned, corners bumped, shelf wear.3/4 red leather with marbled boards and end papers, deckle edges, gilt ruled top edge, third edition. Decorative gilt spines. Prairie Edition
