FOLK ART FRAKTUR GERBURTS UND TAUFSCHEIN / BIRTH AND BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE, watercolor and ink on paper, central register inscribed for Johann Mann, born 1805 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, flanked by pair of large parrots, floral devices, urn, and other birds/distelfinks, no signature located. Housed under glass in a paint-decorated frame. Circa 1810. 13 1/8" x 16 1/8" sight, 17 3/4" x 20 5/8" OA.
Very good overall condition with light toning, foxing, and discoloration. Frame with minor wear. Not examined out of frame.
Provenance: From a Virginia private collection.
