Book Details: This handsome antique volume is bound in full leather, with five raised bands. The title page is printed in red and black, and text is sometimes presented in double columns. An alphabetical table is present at the rear. Thomas De Laune and Benjamin Keach both contributed to this four part work on the metaphorical symbolism of the Bible.

This is the second part of Keach and De Laune's works, entitled "Philologia Sacra, the Second Part. Wherein the Schemes, or Figures in Scripture, are Reduced Under their Proper Heads, with a Brief Explication of Each. Together with a Treatise of Types, Parables, andc. with an Improvement of them Parallel-Wise."
Condition / Notes: This antique volume has been re-backed. The volume displays significant external wear, with rubbing and scuffing to the covers. The hinges are cracked. An armorial bookplate reading "Bibliotheque Schorsch" and two previous owners' signatures are present to the toned endpapers. A small signature is present in the upper corner of the title page. The interior of this volume displays occasional spotting and offsetting, but is otherwise clean and bright.
