Lot 0091 Details

One 2.06 carat oval diamond with two natural pear shaped sapphire ring, GIA report. ///////////////The GIA report on the diamond states that the oval cut is SI2 clarity, and I color (as in H-I-J, not L), with faint florescence. The GIA report on the two pear shaped sapphires states that they are 1.22 and 1.42 carats, natural Sri Lanka origin sapphires with heat treatment. The mounting is 18k yellow gold. The entire ring has a weight of 3 dwts. All the GIA reports are to the left in the photo section, just scroll down. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// There is a maker's mark of J & M inside the shank next to the 18k stamp. This might refer to the jewelry design company known as J & M jewelry out of Spring Texas, but we did not try to confirm this with the company. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// There are two black specks under the table, visible with a 10K magnification loupe, and one under one of the the bezel facets, but they are not large enough in my opinion to be distracting, hence the SI2 grade from GIA. They appear to the eye as if you ground some pepper and took three of the pepper grounds and dropped them into the diamond. Except for those 3 tiny black spots, the diamond is incredibly clear and clean.Ring size: 9
