This would have to be one of the rarest items that has been owned by the Princess of Wales. This little personal Prayer Book measuring just 1 1/8" x 1 7/8" was owned by Diana Spencer and she has written her name on the inside cover. It has a sterling silver cover, was gifted by her “Granny” at a time when Lady Diana was very low in her young life, when her mother left. Lady Diana shared with her Grandmother whom she called “Granny” on many occasions the pain she was suffering over her mother leaving as she had to be the strong one of the family and felt under tremendous pressure to be the one to stand in the gap for her siblings.
