Description
Pair of Nicholas II 84 Zolotnik (.875) Silver Gilt and Cloisonne Enamel Napkin Rings, Moscow, 1908-1917, by Syemen Kazakov, each of oval form decorated with a band of white, green, light and dark blue flowers on a matte gilt ground and between a pelleted royal blue band, h. 1-3/8", w. 1-1/8", l. 2-1/8", 2.51 total t. oz.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good. Some scattered bubbles in the enamel throughout both, with some small cracks and/or tiny losses to the enamel, especially near the marks. Gilding good. Marks (on the matte ground, near the edge): 1) the second "kokoshnik" mark in use 1908-1917, for small items of 84 zk. silver, with the Greek "delta" assay office mark for Moscow; 2) the maker's mark "SK" [Cyrillic] for Syemen Kazakov. (Both rings marked).
