A late 19th century Burmese silver alms bowl, possibly Mandalay circa 1889 by flowerhead maker Of circular form, all over Burmese mythological scenes within a landscape on a textured ground, the rim engraved “Presented to JW Macfie Master of the Royal Rock Beagles by the Rangoon Hunt Club 1889”, the underneath of base engraved with the initials J.W.M and with and maker’s mark. Diameter – 11.5 cm / 4.5 inches Weight – 291 grams / 9.3 ozt
