Description
A 19th century 18ct gold and platinum natural pearl and diamond bow brooch. The pearl, weighing 25.11cts, to the old-cut diamond ribbon sides. With report 10356, dated 17th August 2014, from the Gem & Pearl Lab, stating natural, freshwater. Estimated total diamond weight 8 to 9cts, principal diamonds estimated H-J colour, SI clarity. Austrian import marks. Length 6.6cms. Weight 22.2gms.
Condition
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear and minor discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Please see report for further details of the pearl.
  • Pearl probable replacement.
  • Diamonds well matched and bright.
  • Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Pearl with good lustre and typical surface blemishes.
