Description

A George III gold, pearl and enamel mourning ring. The sepia scene depicting a woman by a split pearl urn, protected by reverse-painted glass of a weeping willow tree, to the split pearl and blue enamel surround. Ring size M. Weight 8gms.

Condition

Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Replacement band, possibly converted from a clasp.

Paint to glazed panel and sepia in fair condition with looses and peeling.

Loose components under glazed panel, including loose seed pearls.

Split pearl and blue enamel surround in good condition with minor abrasions and slight discolouration to split pearls.
