Description
A George III gold, pearl and enamel mourning ring. The sepia scene depicting a woman by a split pearl urn, protected by reverse-painted glass of a weeping willow tree, to the split pearl and blue enamel surround. Ring size M. Weight 8gms.
Condition
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Replacement band, possibly converted from a clasp.
  • Paint to glazed panel and sepia in fair condition with looses and peeling.
  • Loose components under glazed panel, including loose seed pearls.
  • Split pearl and blue enamel surround in good condition with minor abrasions and slight discolouration to split pearls.
