Description
A late Victorian 18ct gold enamel pocket watch. The circular white dial, with blue and peach guilloche enamel front, to the foliate and floral engraved case, suspended from an early 20th century 15ct gold trombone-link Albert chain. Watch case with maker's mark for Joseph Walton. Watch case with hallmarks for London, 1891. Length of watch 5.4cms. Length of chain 40cms. Total weight 89.5gms.
Condition
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Enamel in good condition with minor abrasions and light surface scratches.
  • Albert chain with replacement jump ring.
  • Length stated for pocket watch includes loop surmount.
  • Watch is currently ticking.
