Description
A late Victorian Scottish gold, hardstone dirk brooch. The tapered onyx, banded agate, bloodstone and jasper panels, with graduated fancy-shape amethyst and smoky quartz accent, to the similarly-shaped citrine hilt. Length 10.8cms. Weight 24.1gms.
Condition
  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • With base metal back pin replacement.
  • Chalcedony in good condition.
  • Gemstones in good condition, with minor chips and abrasions.
