Native American, southwestern United States, Navajo tribe, ca. mid-20th century CE, signed by B. Yazzi on verso. A lovely vintage necklace composed of forty-eight pierced turquoise stones, fourteen spherical sterling silver spacer beads, and a large turquoise stone set within a squash blossom pendant. The spacer beads each bear numerous incised linear and circular motifs, and the squash blossom pendant boasts several peripheral loops which surround a corded border, all beneath a cylindrical silver bead with a flared base.
