ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED AMERICAN HISTORICAL CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF THREE comprising a 8 3/4" D plate with dark blue transfer pattern "LANDING OF GEN LAFAYETTE / At Castle Gardens, New York / 16th August 1824" with impressed mark "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE", a 10" D plate depicting "Lafayette At Washington’s Tomb", and a 10 1/4" D plate with design pattern "ENTRANCE OF / THE ERIE CANAL / INTO THE HUDSON / AT ALBANY". Second quarter 19th century.
