ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE "FAIRY VILLAS", FLOW BLUE TRANSFER-PRINTED ARTICLES, LOT OF 13, comprising eight cups of various sizes, two with gilded highlights, and five 6" saucers. Some with printed marks "Stone China / Fairy Villas / W. ADAMS & CO. / ENGLAND". William Adams & Co., Greengates, Tunstall. Late 19th century. Cups 2 1/2" to 3 3/4" HOA, 4" to 4 3/4" D.
Chips to rims and/or foot ring of cups and saucers, discoloration on inside one cup.
Literature: Transferware Collectors Club database pattern #2446.
