Description

Needlework Sampler, Mary Hughes 1825. Elaborately stitched with house, male and female figures, mermaid, peacock, birds, flowers and a cat on the roof.
Excellent condition, unframed. aprox 17" x 17". Unframed.

In house US Fedex ground shipping available for $65

Condition

Professionally stitched to a fabric support. The sampler was removed from it's stretcher at some point and losses (nail holes) to the edges are visible in the images from the nails that attached the sampler to the stretcher. No apparent repair. Condition report is supplied as a courtesy. It is not a guarantee.
