Item DetailsOverall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. One memorial brooch with glazed hair panel, with personal engraving to reverse, 'Presented to Emily Badger by her Grandma Apr 24th 1847.' Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate carat weight, colour and clarity assessment. Enamel is in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the edges. Split pearls are in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the surfaces. Total weight of memorial brooches 34.6gms. Jet is in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges, small nicks and chips. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
