Facing head of a lion with strong features, almond shaped eyes gazing forward, wavy mane surrounding the head, holding a bronze ring with ribbings in his mouth. Probably from a door or a large chest.

Provenance: UK private collection of a North England gentleman, acquired in the 1960’s -1970’s. This item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
