Vintage 1925 Oil on Artist Board "The Old Black Oak" by Jacob S. Royer (American, b. 1883). Late Fall Ohio Landscape with a leafless Black Oak. In wood frame measures 12.25"x10.25"x1". Weight 1pd. A well listed Dayton, Ohio artist, Royer studied at the Dayton Art Institute and several of his works are housed in the Institution’s permanent collection. He also exhibited at the Dayton Artists Guild and in 1930 at the Akron Art Museum. PROVENANCE: A Charleston SC Private Estate.
