Description
ENGLISH COPPER / PINK LUSTRE CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising two pitchers and one straight-sided mug, all having embossed designs of a ram, a floral basket, and a dog on the sides over blue and white grounds. Unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1820. 3 3/4" to 5 1/4" H.
Two undamaged, one with minor shallow flake on bottom of foot likely from manufacturing. Manufacturing flaw below the handle on mug covered with lustre glaze.
Provenance: From the collection of Dr. Leonard and Mimi Levine, VA.
