Description

Three gem-set brooches. To include a late Victorian 9ct gold blue-gem engraved brooch, a mid 20th century 9ct gold turquoise and split pearl bow brooch, together with an amethyst openwork brooch. Two with hallmarks for 9ct gold. Lengths 2 to 4.3cms. Total weight 11.7gms.

Condition

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Late Victorian brooch with noticeable signs of repair, residues of glue to mount and heavy discolouration to back and one side.

Some gems possible replacements.

Some gems possible imitations.

Bow brooch with hook surmount, suspended drop deficient.

Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
