Description
A pair of late Victorian gold Scottish agate earrings. Each designed as an openwork crowned shield, with circular surmount, set throughout with banded agate, bloodstone and chalcedony. One AF. Length 4.3cms. Weight 4.9gms.
Condition
  • Overall condition fair to poor. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One hook fitting deficient.
  • Localise dents to the back.
  • Gems in fair to poor condition with moderate to severe abrasion and nibbles to the facet edges.
