Description
Matched pair of Chinese Export pewter mounted porcelain candelabras in the Rose Medallion palette and converted from vases, both having applied gilt foo dog handles at the neck and shoulders with four applied gilt dragons, the body mounted with a scaly pewter dragon and surmounted with four candlecups emanating from thorny branches, the whole raised on a pewter base with four scrolled legs. Neither vase apparently marked. Approximate height 21.75".
Condition
Minor wear to gilt and enamel. Wax residue present on candlecups. One lamp with a couple of chips to rim of collar(mouth).
