Item Details

Description

A French Art Deco coffee / tea set and tray, c. 1930s. Silverplate service by Bafico, with exotic wood handles and finials. Comprised of a coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl and serving tray. The tallest pot measuring 8" high, 9.5" wide from end of spout to end of handle, the smaller pot, 7" high, 10" wide. Sugar bowl 5.25" high, 7" wide. The tray measures 21.75" wide, 14" deep, 1" high. Each piece marked Bafico, Francia (France).
NOTE: Bafico was a French importer that supplied luxury goods to Buenos Aires in the 1930s.
