Description
Two late Victorian 18ct gold ruby and diamond rings. Each designed as a ruby and diamond three-stone ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. One with hallmarks for Chester, 1895. Total weight 8.1gms.
Condition
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Rubies with purplish-red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen easily under 10X magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Ring sizes N and P.

  • One stamped 18ct.
