    Description
    Two late Victorian brooches and an amethyst ring. The first designed as a late Victorian old-cut diamond shamrock brooch, the second designed as a 9ct gold late Victorian brooch with two hard stone shamrocks, set atop a horseshoe, the third designed a single-stone amethyst ring. One AF. Length of brooches 3.5 to 2cms. Ring size Q. Total weight 7.8gms.
    Condition
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamond fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Shamrock diamond brooch has one diamond deficient

  • horseshoe brooch, has evidence of repair to reverse.

  • Amethyst medium purple, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
