Description
A late Victorian gold banded agate and split pearl locket. The split pearl star, set atop the oval banded agate locket, suspended from a black enamel surmount. Length 4.6cms. Weight 24.2gms.
Condition
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Split pearls are a creamy white, with fair lustre.

  • Split pearl star, possible replacement.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Width 2.8cms.

  • Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
