Description
Small watercolor mourning memorial picture on paper. Scene with weeping lady in black, willow tree and large tomb being identified in script "In Memory of William Henry Dalrymple" "Died August 3, 1845 Aged 5 years". Ancestry research states he was born in Readsboro, Vermont, on 24 Jul 1840 to Nathional Dalrymple and Celesta Electra Haskins. He passed away on 2 Aug 1845 in Readsboro, Vermont, USA. Wooden, period frame, 9 3/4" x 9". Good condition.
