Lot 0224 Details

Pair of Qing Dynasty Chinese porcelain potted in deep bowl vessel, with rounded sides rising slightly curved wall toward flared rim and wide opening, supported on footed base. The exterior wealthy decorated in famille rose centralized floral blooms against colorful geometrical pattern of squared Quadre-foil archaic ruyi shaped petal motif, between the repeating ruyi and upturning lappets bands. Adorned with a fine gilt ring around lips and foot. Elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood stand. Fitted unto pale-blue silk covered hard cushion above colorful patterned ribbon, set inside a wooden box.

Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
